Abstract: Fracture of the distal radius is one of the most common skeletal injuries treated by Orthopaedic surgeons. These fractures continue to pose a therapeutic challenge. Some of these fractures are caused by high energy trauma, resulting in intra-articular involvement and comminution. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the functional outcome of distal radial fractures in adults treated with open reduction and internal fixation with buttress plate and screws
