Abstract: The search for the precursors of prostatic adenocarcinoma has focused on two lesions, prostatic intraepithelial neoplasia (PIN) and atypical adenomatous hyperplasia (AAH). The present study aims to identify PIN and to study its association with Benign Prostatic Hypertrophy (BPH) and adenocarcinoma. It also focuses on different architectural patterns of High grade PIN (HGPIN).
