| Abstract: | Acute coronary syndrome (ACS), in particular, continues to be the leading cause of death worldwide. ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI) is a serious and morbid ischemic heart condition that puts the patient's lives in danger. In-hospital significant major adverse cardiac events (MACE) and in-hospital mortality are more common in STEMI patients. Electrocardiography (ECG) is a standard aspect of any cardiac patient's examination. For these reasons, early detection of in hospital major adverse cardiac events using ECG and starting prevention strategies is an important aspect in the treatment of STEMI. |
