Abstract: Acute Coronary Syndrome is the most common form of heart disease world-wide and the single most important cause of premature death. The disease of the coronary arteries is almost always as a resultant of atheroma formation and its associated complications. One of the precipitating factors for the progression of atherosclerosis is presence of inflammation.
