Abstract:
Tuberculosis has forever been known to mankind to cause morbidity and
mortality. The disease has been extensively studied in the younger population to
present with typical symptoms and radiological features, but has rather not got the
importance it deserves in the elderly. Hence, through this study we wish to study the
various patterns of presentation of the geriatric population with tuberculosis and also
the various radiological lesions that these patients demonstrate, so that earlier
diagnosis is aimed and the definitive diagnosis of tuberculosis is done in the geriatric
population despite the lack of typical features.
